1. Operator and scope
Challigo at challigo.com is operated by GANDAM GNANA THIRUMALESH, an individual based in India. Challigo is the operator's business name, not a registered company. “Challigo”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator. These Terms cover the challenge, progress-tracking, article, community and public utility-app features of the service. The Privacy Policy separately explains how personal information is handled.
By selecting the required agreement checkbox when creating an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy. We record the document version and time for new registrations; we do not create agreement records retrospectively for existing users. Acknowledging a privacy notice is not consent to unrelated processing or a waiver of data-protection rights.
2. Eligibility and your account
Challigo is intended for users aged 13 and above, not children under 13. Registration requires a private age-group declaration (13–17 or 18+). It is self-reported and is not age verification. Provide accurate information; do not choose a false age group to evade a restriction. Existing accounts can supply or correct their group in Settings. You must follow these Terms and the community rules below when creating challenges, completing daily tasks and interacting with others. You must also satisfy the legal requirements applicable to your use. If you are 13–17, have a parent or legal guardian review these Terms and approve your use, and ensure any legally required guardian agreement is obtained. Where applicable law requires verified parental consent, the affected account features must not be used until that requirement is satisfied. The current app has no verified-parental-consent flow; an ordinary signup checkbox does not provide that verification.
At registration, users selecting ages 13–17 must declare that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these Terms and the Privacy Policy and approved their use of Challigo. That declaration is made by the user and is not independently verified parental consent. Moderation and publication approval do not waive any applicable legal requirement.
Provide accurate account information, use an email address you control, complete required verification, and keep your credentials secure. Do not impersonate someone else, use another person’s account without permission, or create accounts to evade a restriction. Let us know if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for your own actions, not automatically for activity caused by a failure for which the law makes us responsible.
An account may have up to three active browser/device sessions. Additional sign-ins can require a single-use email code. If the limit is reached, sign out on another device before signing in again. Settings lets you review and revoke active sessions.
3. The service and its limits
Challigo helps you create or join challenges, record daily actions, review your journey, read and publish articles, and take part in discussions. Progress and outcome entries are self-reported. Completing tasks, earning a streak or seeing a badge or celebration is not independent verification of an achievement or a promise of any result.
Content may come from community members. Review, publication or an official-account badge does not certify that advice is accurate, professionally qualified or safe for every person. Challigo is not a healthcare provider, therapist, financial adviser or emergency service. Articles, challenges and utility tools are general information, not individual professional advice. Consult a suitable professional where needed.
Public calculators and planners provide estimates based on the inputs and assumptions shown, not a diagnosis, treatment plan or personalised medical assessment. Sleep, sunlight, BMI and reaction-time results do not establish your health, body composition or fitness to drive or perform safety-sensitive work. Use qualified healthcare advice for personal health decisions. A tool result does not certify that a suggested routine is appropriate for you.
Timer completion, sounds and notifications depend on your browser, device and permissions and may be delayed or missed. Do not rely on them for emergencies or safety-critical timing. Locally saved tool state is not account-backed challenge history and may be lost when browser data is cleared. See the Privacy Policy's browser-storage details for what is saved, shared-device considerations and removal options.
Choose activities appropriate for your circumstances. Rest, skip or leave when you need to, and stop an activity that causes harm or discomfort. Do not delay professional help because of a challenge, deadline or streak. These cautions do not exclude any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Use your own judgment and interpret challenges and task prompts as suggestions for lawful, safe, constructive everyday activities. A general prompt such as “start a task you have been avoiding” never authorises or encourages crime, self-harm, harm to others, damage to property or interference with another person’s rights. You are responsible for the actions you choose. This does not remove any responsibility Challigo has under applicable law.
Challenge precautions appear prominently until acknowledged, then remain below the challenge content. This reading preference is not medical consent or confirmation that an activity is safe for you. A revised challenge version can show the guidance again.
4. Challenge participation and progress
Challenge creators propose a general-audience (13+) or adults-only (18+) classification. Moderators can review and change shared-content classifications; a creator cannot lower an existing adults-only rating without that review. Adult-rated challenges currently remain on hold: selecting 18+ does not verify adulthood or enable viewing others’ adult drafts, joining or discussion. Authors may edit their own drafts and authorised moderators may review shared submissions. General-audience content and published articles must be suitable for the platform’s 13+ audience. An age label never permits illegal, exploitative, dangerous, pornographic or harassing material or unsupported medical promises.
Challenge length, tasks, start dates, checkpoints and outcomes are shown in the relevant challenge. An enrollment uses a saved version of the challenge and its time zone; later edits to the original or your profile do not necessarily rewrite an existing journey. The server determines day availability and permitted changes, so your device clock alone cannot open future days. Scheduled or ended challenges may have participation limits.
Where available, you can record completed tasks and outcomes or mark rest/skip days. Leaving stops active participation but retains the history shown by the service. Reset challenge progress clears your entire attempt’s days, tasks, rest/skip days and outcomes. You restart today, or on a later scheduled start date, using the latest approved challenge version. Other participants and discussion comments are not affected. Clear tasks only clears today’s tasks. Neither leaving nor resetting is the same as deleting an account. No payment, prize, employment qualification or guaranteed benefit is awarded merely by completing a challenge.
Challenge badges recognise self-reported progress on distinct challenges. At least 80% of challenge days must be completed to qualify, rounding the required number of days up. Rest and skipped days do not count as completed days. This threshold is for badges only: actual progress shows the real percentage, while participation status, completed filters and statistics retain their full-completion rules. The first qualifying challenge earns the first badge, followed by one new badge per distinct challenge through the 15th milestone. Completing individual days only advances progress. A replay or reset of the same challenge does not earn another badge. Earned badges remain after a reset or removal of the original challenge; deleting your account removes your badge records. They are personal milestones, not verified qualifications or an endorsement. You may download and share your earned badge images, taking care that they include the challenge name even if the challenge is private.
6. Your content and permission to operate the service
You retain ownership of content you create. Only submit material you have the rights and permissions to share, including any necessary permission from people shown or identified in it. Do not publish another person’s private information without a lawful basis.
For content you choose to submit, you grant us permission that is non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free, limited to storing, processing, formatting, displaying and delivering it to operate and secure Challigo in accordance with your visibility choices. This includes technical copies, image resizing, moderation and delivery by service providers. It is not a transfer of ownership or permission to sell your content for unrelated purposes or endorse products in your name.
That permission ends when the content is deleted, except to the limited extent necessary for existing participant snapshots, legal preservation, resolving complaints and the retention described in the Privacy Policy. Removing an original challenge does not automatically rewrite other participants’ saved journeys. This limited licence does not override a statutory right to erasure or other mandatory rights.
7. Community rules and prohibited use
Do not use Challigo to:
- Break applicable law; infringe copyright, trade marks or other rights; defraud, impersonate, mislead or disclose someone’s private information.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, sexually exploit or abuse anyone; promote violence, unlawful discrimination or dangerous self-harm; or post sexual content involving a child, non-consensual intimate material or unlawful obscene content.
- Post deceptive synthetic/AI-manipulated media or impersonations, remove legally required provenance labels, or misrepresent harmful fabrications as genuine. Required disclosures do not make unlawful material acceptable.
- Distribute malware, spam or phishing; manipulate likes, views or reports; scrape private data; bypass permissions or rate limits; or disrupt or attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts.
- Use challenges to coerce others, demand unsafe activities, sell prohibited goods/services, or present unqualified professional advice as an assured cure or result.
Challenges involving dangerous activities, bullying, harassment, exploitation, illegal activities or harm to others are prohibited. We may review, restrict or remove content that violates these rules or applicable law. Do not post identifying or sensitive information about a child or use the platform to put a child at risk.
Good-faith criticism, a missed day or honest disagreement is not itself abuse. Use reports responsibly and provide enough context to identify the issue. Report security concerns privately without accessing other people’s data or exploiting a vulnerability.
8. Moderation, reports and complaints
Write challenge definitions, tasks, notes, articles, community comments and profile bios in English. Keep them respectful and do not include personal email addresses or phone numbers. Automated submission checks can ask you to revise specific fields before saving; they do not edit your words or publish a flagged submission. If a check appears wrong, contact us for assistance. Reporting harmful content and supplying complaint evidence are not blocked by these content filters. Passing an automated check does not guarantee approval or suitability.
Public and invitation-link challenges require admin approval before sharing, and edits require a new review. A new general-audience private challenge can be used without prior approval and remains inaccessible to other users. Authorised administrators can inspect its definition and reject it later; this does not make it public. Rejected private challenges require review when edited or appealed. Adult-rated challenges remain on hold. Articles and thumbnail changes require review before publication. Use an illustrated avatar from the supplied collection; profile-photo uploads are not supported. Do not submit personal photographs or thumbnails exposing addresses, contact details, school identification or other personal information. Administrators may remove unsuitable thumbnails and provide a reason; replacing one returns the article to review. We may reject, restrict or remove content, suspend access or close an account for a breach of these rules, safety/security reasons or a legal requirement. Automated report thresholds may temporarily hold content for review; reports alone do not establish that someone has broken the law. Actions should be proportionate to the circumstances.
While your report on an item is awaiting review, you cannot submit another report on the same item. Once an administrator resolves it, you can report the item again if needed. When a report is accepted or rejected, the administrator provides a reason and we queue an email with the decision and reason for your verified account email address. Email delivery may be delayed by service or provider availability.
Where lawful and practical, we should explain a restriction and provide a way to challenge it. Creator submissions have appeal tools where shown; you can also contact the operator about a decision, inaccessible content or an account restriction. Notice may be limited where urgent protection, an investigation or law requires it. We do not promise that all content is pre-screened or that every report causes removal.
Use the Report control for an in-app report, or email the contact below with the exact content URL, your concern, relevant rights/authority and the action requested. You do not need an account to email a complaint. Do not attach illegal material or unnecessary sensitive documents. The Grievance Officer is GANDAM GNANA THIRUMALESH, Owner and Grievance Officer. Contact contact@challigo.com for complaints, privacy/account-deletion requests and security incidents. Routine admin summary schedules do not extend complaint deadlines; identify urgent safety/security concerns clearly. Complaints must be handled within applicable statutory deadlines, with any escalation rights preserved. This is not an emergency-response channel.
9. Challigo materials and third-party services
Optional Google Analytics is controlled separately through Cookie preferences in Settings or the Privacy Policy. Allowing it is not a condition of using Challigo, and accepting these Terms does not itself enable optional analytics. The Privacy Policy explains the information involved and how to change your choice.
The service’s original interface, software and branding belong to the operator or relevant licensors, subject to third-party and open-source rights. These Terms do not grant ownership of those materials. Other people’s content and marks remain theirs.
Links to independent websites do not imply endorsement. Their terms and privacy practices govern your use of those sites. We use providers for hosting, image delivery and transactional email as described in the Privacy Policy; using providers does not remove duties the law places on us.
10. Charges, availability and service changes
The current application does not offer a payment checkout or paid subscription. It does not authorise us to debit you. Any future paid feature would require clear prices and relevant payment, cancellation and refund terms before you choose to purchase it; we cannot silently convert past use into a paid commitment.
Features may change or be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security work or other operational reasons. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or permanent availability of any feature. For a material discontinuation, appropriate notice and an opportunity to export available data should be provided where practical and legally required. Keep copies of content important to you.
11. Stopping use and deleting an account
You can stop using Challigo, leave challenges, or use Settings to delete your account after confirming your password. Deletion revokes access and removes or withdraws information as explained in the retention and deletion section of the Privacy Policy. It is not an immediate purge of every internal record, participant snapshot or third-party copy. Contact us for assistance or a further privacy request. Closing an account does not erase an outstanding legal obligation or prevent a good-faith complaint about the service.
12. Responsibility and mandatory rights
We aim to provide a useful service with reasonable care. To the extent allowed by law, we do not give additional promises that community content is complete, that the service will always be error-free, or that participation will produce particular personal, health or financial results. You should assess content and activities for your own needs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a non-excludable duty, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer, privacy and other statutory rights are preserved. These Terms do not impose an automatic indemnity, an arbitrary monetary liability cap or a waiver of legal remedies.
13. Applicable law and disputes
The operator is based in India. These Terms are governed by Indian law, without overriding protections or remedies that the law of your place of residence makes mandatory. Website accessibility from another country does not remove either party’s applicable legal obligations.
You may contact us to try to resolve a concern, but doing so is not a condition that prevents a time-sensitive legal claim or statutory complaint. Nothing here requires private arbitration or removes access to a competent consumer forum, court, regulator or grievance body. We do not claim exclusive jurisdiction in a way that overrides mandatory local rights.
14. Updates and contact
The effective date appears above. Material changes need appropriate notice before taking effect, except where urgent legal or security reasons require otherwise. Where fresh agreement is required, it must be obtained. Revised Terms cannot retroactively change rights that mandatory law protects. If one provision cannot be enforced, the rest should apply only to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a right is not automatically a waiver.
